Cebu Pacific: Limited NAIA runway ops may cause flight delays

Some flights may be delayed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Saturday due to limited runway operations there, Cebu Pacific said Friday night.


Cebu Pacific issued an advisory saying the NAIA-3 will not allow aircraft landings between Friday midnight and 5 a.m. Saturday for "urgent runway repairs."

"Due to limited runway operations, CEB flights arriving within this time frame will be delayed. There may also be consequential flight delays throughout the day," the airline said.


It asked for understanding from its passengers, saying this is "beyond the airline's control."

Cebu Pacific said it will continue to provide updates as soon as they are available.
