It’s true that shopping is an unseparatable part of traveling for it will also give you an extraordinary experience. Here are some shopping tips you need to pay attention to while traveling abroad, they are:

Find market info

One thing you have to do is looking for markets information and shopping centres in your destination for one market usually sells one kind of thing, for example fruit market will not sell souvenirs. So, just find the detail information so you can find things you want easily.

Learn greeting expression

To make you easier in communicating with merchants, it’s better for you to learn local greeting expression. This thing will also get you closer to the merchants and they will surely like you more when you try to learn their language.

Basic counting

Learn the language about basic counting in your destination for not all merchants you will find is capable of speaking in English. It’s better for you to learn basic counting language in the destination / country you are in.

Bring calculator

Calculator is so useful if you’re happened having lost in translation. Use calculator to mention things you want, though both of you and the merchants don’t understand language used.

Comparing prices

Don’t be in a hurry in buying one thing. It’s better if you compare the prices first among many merchants for there are some merchants selling their goods with different prices each other.

Bargain

Though you’re in other country, but still, in any market there will be bargaining activity.  So don’t worry to bargain the price you’re offered and don’t hesitate to bargain up to 50-70% from the price you’re offered.
