Going on holiday should be fun but unfortunately you are also more at risk of getting sick which can really take away all the fun... Of course you should always take care of your health but while you are on holiday you are in unfamiliar places, meeting new people and using public facilities like toilets and seats. All this will make you more vulnerable to bacteries and viruses that can make you sick. When on holiday just follow these easy to follow tips to stay healthy and to make sure you enjoy everything.

Hygiene

Public places are in general more dirty than your own home so when you are on holiday you should take care of personal hygiene better than normal. Take good care of your hands as they are the most common cause of transmission of bacteries and viruses. Bring antibacterial hand cream with alcohol which you can use without water to wash your hands. It can sterilize your hands quickly and easily. It makes travelling easier as you don't have to go to the toilet to wash your hands many times.

Immune system

Take care of your health before your holiday: eat healthy and on time and rest regularly. This is to keep your immune system working well in on a trip or holiday. When your immune system is working well it is more difficult to catch a desease.

Take extra vitamine C

Vitamine C is very beneficial for your body asit will help your immune system to protect you from virus attacks and other diseases. Take some extra vitamine C when you're on vacation or traveling. You can get vitamine C from fruits, drinks which contain vitamine C or vitamine C pills.

Drug of medicine

Put some common medicines in your bag already so when you fill sick, you can take it immediately. While travelling you are often not close to a pharmacy so it can take a long time before you get the medicines you need. Putting some painkillers, anti-nausea pills, anti-sickness pills etc. in your bag already can really save your holiday.
